Questions

Questions before you book

What happens at my first visit?

You check in, talk with your doctor about what happened and how you feel, and have a hands-on exam. Your doctor explains what was found and what a plan could look like, and you leave with the cost in writing. It takes about 45 minutes.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Most people have no serious problems. Some feel sore for a day or two after an adjustment. Rare serious events, such as a tear in a neck artery after a neck adjustment, have been reported, and your doctor explains these risks before any neck adjustment. If your history says chiropractic is not right for you, we send you to a physician first.

Will the adjustment hurt?

Most adjustments are not painful. Soreness afterward is common. Your doctor adjusts the technique to you, and you can ask to stop or change anything at any time.

How many visits will I need?

Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and reviews it with you as you go. We do not promise a number of visits.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill the PIP and auto medical coverage on your policy for visits it covers, and many health plans. What a plan pays differs, and the plan decides. Call with your plan type and we will check before your first visit. How fees work explains the rest.

What if I do not use insurance?

Your doctor tells you what each part of your visit costs before it happens, and we give you an itemized receipt. If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us.

Do I need x-rays?

Only when medically necessary. Your doctor tells you why before one is taken, and you can ask questions first.

Can I bring my child or come while pregnant?

Tell us when you call. Your doctor explains what we do and do not do for children and during pregnancy, and may ask you to see your physician or midwife first.

What if I have already seen another provider?

That is common after a crash. Tell us who you saw and we will ask your permission before we request any records. We work alongside your other providers.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.

Still have a question?

Send a note and we will answer the way you ask.

Please don't include medical details in this message. For anything urgent, call us.
