Auto injury care in Orlando
Surge is an Orlando chiropractic office for drivers whose care runs through PIP or auto medical coverage. Read how the bill works first, then book a visit when you decide to.

The bill
These are the questions drivers ask first. The full guide takes a few minutes to read.
PIP is the medical coverage on a Florida auto policy. It is meant to pay for treatment after a crash, whoever caused it, up to the limit on your policy.
For visits PIP covers, we bill your auto insurer directly, so the statement does not start with you. Your policy decides what is paid.
Your policy may leave a part for you, such as a deductible or care it does not cover. We tell you what that is, in writing, before care PIP may not pay for.
We tell you what was denied and why. You decide the next step, with your insurer or an attorney you choose. We do not recommend one.
Your records
At any visit, ask the front desk for a copy of your records and an itemized bill. We keep them private and share them only as the law allows, with the people you name.
A written copy, on request
An itemized bill for each visit
Sent only to the people you name

Questions
You check in, talk with your doctor about what happened and how you feel, and have a hands-on exam. Your doctor explains what was found and what a plan could look like, and you leave with the cost in writing. It takes about 45 minutes.
Most people have no serious problems. Some feel sore for a day or two after an adjustment. Rare serious events, such as a tear in a neck artery after a neck adjustment, have been reported, and your doctor explains these risks before any neck adjustment. If your history says chiropractic is not right for you, we send you to a physician first.
We bill the PIP and auto medical coverage on your policy for visits it covers, and many health plans. What a plan pays differs, and the plan decides. Call with your plan type and we will check before your first visit. How fees work explains the rest.
Your doctor tells you what each part of your visit costs before it happens, and we give you an itemized receipt. If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us.
Only when medically necessary. Your doctor tells you why before one is taken, and you can ask questions first.
Book
Send a note and we will answer the way you ask, in English or Spanish. We never contact anyone about a crash first.
